Wenqi Feng, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who has extensive experience treating the full scope of mental health disorders at Regeneration Psychiatry, which she co-founded, in Redondo Beach, California.
She has a special interest in reproductive psychiatry (women’s mental health) and has helped many women navigate their psychiatric care during pregnancy and postpartum.
Dr. Feng was born in Nanchang, China, and immigrated with her parents to the United States when she was 6 years old. She attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where she discovered her love of connecting with patients and listening to their stories.
She continued her training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in Los Angeles, California, completing a general adult psychiatry residency at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior in Los Angeles, California.
While there, Dr. Feng trained in highly specialized clinics treating psychotic and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and addiction.
Dr. Feng is also a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is involved in mental health research at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
When Dr. Feng isn’t with patients, she enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
